Dr. Cynthia R. Thompson – Mrs. All World Beauties US 2024 – 2026

Tell us about yourself.

I am an international speaker, author, and personal and professional trainer. I am also an honorary doctorate and Presidential Lifetime Achievement award winner. However, the best titles I currently have are wife, mother, and Nana. There is one title I admonish daily, and that is the designation of Cancer Survivor and Thriver! I have battled vulvar cancer for 7 years, through 3 diagnoses and a prognosis of 18 months to live to speak on stages boldly, encourage those around me, and spread knowledge about the power of belief and purpose. I have been recognized by non-profits such as Josie’s Girls as a trailblazer and Her Excellency, Dr. Theresa Mosely as a Passion, Purpose, Peace award recipient. I am indeed very blessed.

How did you get into pageantry?

I was approached by Dr. Jolie Rashawn twice about joining this great organization. I was not interested in the pageantry part but in the three pillars of inner beauty, empowerment, and service. These pillars aligned with my gifts and purpose, so it wasn’t long after the second invitation to become a delegate that I accepted. God created a clear path for me to share not only my gifts but also my passion which is not only sharing about gynecological cancer but also education and empowering women to discover their gifts and purpose so they can experience the life they truly want by aligning their purpose to their everyday life.

Pageant Platform: Gynecological Cancer Awareness

Tell us about your pageant system and platform.

I am honored to be part of the All-World Beauties and Man of Distinction pageant system. The care and integrity of the organization’s leadership was the catalyst that not only drew me to participate but strive to be a part of the family for many years to come. I feel this is a great system to partner with in spreading awareness about gynecological cancers where only, cervical cancer, has a medical screening. Educating both men and women on the symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment of these cancers; as well as how to navigate their feelings and help reach out to family and friends without the stigma of shame or embarrassment.

Where do you see yourself and your pageant career in the next 5 years?

In the next 5 years, I hope to be a lifetime queen serving the administration, other queens, and delegates to help them be the absolute best they can be while still advocating for research and resources for others.

What is the most important lesson you’ve learned from pageantry?

To be yourself! Understanding and leaning into the authentic you is powerful. I have learned from my pageant journey that you can admire someone else but never try to be them.

Receiving the Passion, Purpose, Peace Award from Her Excellency, Dr. Theresa Mosely

What advice would you give someone entering pageantry?

Understand the pillars or focus areas of the organization you are thinking about joining. Be sure you have met and shaken hands with your authentic self, so you recognize her in a crowded room and are never intimidated. I would say to take advantage of workshops and webinars being offered by the system and remember strongly that they deserve to be in the room just like everyone.

What message is on your heart to share right now?

You are created with a purpose. Discover and walk boldly in that purpose and watch life’s obstacles become stepstools to the life you really desire.

How can people get in contact with you? What’s up next for you?
